A safe and loving place for children
in Quito, Ecuador

Our day-care center offers integral support during childhood and adolescence for children and adolescents whose rights are being violated. We focus on education, health, and social work. Our after-school program keeps children off the streets and provides them with stimulation activities, as well as a vision for their future.

International Volunteer Program

We are looking for motivated people who want to spend at least two months in Quito and help out at the Refugio. Help is needed in the pedagogical area: spending time with the kids, playing, doing crafts, helping with homework, teaching English, resolving conflicts, and working in specific areas (garden, bakery, etc.) according to experience.

Local Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers who are available as little as one afternoon a week to serve as positive mentors for children ages 5 to 16. You could teach crafts, help with homework, read stories, teach sports or music, or lead the children in other activities to help them build skills and self-confidence.
